Battlefield 3 DLC Coming This June
That’s right people starting this June the first of three dlc is slated for release. Yesterday at GDC 2012 EA and DICE confirmed the dlc for Battlefield 3; Close Quarters, Armor Kill and End Game will all feature new maps, weapons and vehicles similar to Back to Karkand.
First up this June is the Close Quarters pack. In Close Quarters we get to see something you don’t really get to see when playing BF3…close quarter combat! These maps will all focus on the infantry only combat in tight fast pace environments. Close Quarters will feature 10 new weapons, 4 new maps, new assignments and dog tags.
One of the map shown at GDC will take place in the upper floors of a stylish looking office building called Ziba Tower. Ziba Tower will feature cubicle spaces, balconies and a pool.
Next up is Armored Kill which is to specifically focus on tank combat. In this pack we can all look forward to getting new tanks ATV’s and some mobile artillery. The real attention grabber for this pack is that it will feature the biggest multiplayer maps ever for a Battlefield game.
No release date was given but I’m figuring around the end of the summer beginning of fall because this winter will see the release of the final dlc End Game. Dice has yet to release any info on End Game.
