Bright Falls – Alan Wake Live Action Prequel Is Here
Original post 04/27/2010
As many of you know I have been waiting for 5 years to get to my hands on Alan Wake, and that day is is getting ever so close. Until its release on May 18th. Microsoft has been quoted as saying the Bright Falls web-series will evoke the same ghostly chills as “Twin Peaks.”
Bright Fall, the live-action series, was shot on-location in parts of Oregon and Washington State (USA) and will showcase the events before the beginning of the game. Detailing the story of a reporter named Jake as he interviews the menacing Dr. Hartman in the seeming-tranquil town of Bright Falls. Interestingly, the title character and namesake of the game, Alan Wake, doesn’t make an appearance in the first two episodes.
Xbox Live and the official Bright Falls web-site will have a new episode each week until the series two-part finale on May 17, 2010. I will be getting the Alan Wake Collector’s Edition set which includes a 144-page book, a soundtrack CD, an exclusive Avatar and early free access to additional downloadable content.
