Modern Warfare 3 or 2.5?
So, here we are kiddies, coming upon yet another “Call of Duty” release, and I’ve got to say I am not anticipating it at all. Why should I? Year after year the same mindless drivel is churned out by the “good” people of Activision and sold as a new release. Of course “Modern Warfare 3″ hasn’t disappointed me in that category either. Here’s the rundown of their “new” perks and killstreaks:

Green Lantern comes to DCUO
When I first bought DC Universe Online (DCUO) and started playing around with it, I was a little surprised by the lack of mentors. You could choose from heroes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and villians the Joker, Lex Luthor, and Circe, but where was the rest of the Justice League and Legion of Doom? Where was the Flash, Green Lantern, Brainiac, Aquaman (I know he’s useless but still), Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Black Manta, Mr. Freeze, Sinestro, the Riddler?… I could go on but I wont. Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) announced that this summer for $9.99 the first Downloadable Content (DLC) pack for DC Universe Online (DCUO), “Fight for the Light,” will be released. The game’s seventh power set, Light, is coming in this DLC, as is the ability to create your own Lantern-inspired characters, so @Konichiwa_Daily should be very happy.

Ever since we all got a glimpse of actual game footage two months ago, more and more first person fans are coming out of the wood-works. Even during the E3 Conference two weeks ago, Activision’s head honcho and Mr. Curious, Bobby Kotick, was turned away by reps from EA when he asked to get a look at the competition.

Prey 2 Coming 2012
The first Prey was amazing, you played as Domasi Tawodi (aka “Tommy”), traversing the alien spacecraft through portals to save your girlfriend Jen. Prey 3 ingenious features into the mix Portals although fixed they came in quite handy when running from enemies (this was before Portal). Variable gravity, although your orientation always looked the same when walking along certain paths you would plunge to your death as gravity takes hold of you if you tried to jump or walked to far off the path and lastly spirit mode. This mode great for sneaking up on your opponent and solving puzzles as your spirit leaves you body in an astral projection-esqe manner. Bethesda announced recently that the much anticipated sequel is on it’s way, and they have already released some screenshots:
