Since its announcement, millions have been drooling in anticipation of “The Elder Scrolls Online.” The wait is finally over, but let me say it now: if you are looking for an “Elder Scrolls” game you’re in luck, but if you’re looking for a “Skyrim” game you will probably be disappointed.
I haven’t really liked an “Assassins Creed” since the first game, but I keep playing because the story is amazing.
You play as Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton, aka Connor, both of whom are the playable characters from the previous “Assassins Creed” game. Edward is a privateer turned pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy, who accidentally happens across the Assassins Order.
If you ask anyone, they will tell you that I am a die-hard Batman fan, but don’t think that I put blinders on just because it’s Batman. I have played a lot of crappy Batman games, and superhero games in general, but “Batman: Arkham Origins” does not fall into this category.
In this review I plan to get straight to it and tell all of you why I really like the game and why I hate it with a fiery passion. I have never played “Payday: The Heist” but I have always heard great things about it, so I figured I would give its sequel a shot.
I don’t know what the big deal is with the “Dynasty Warriors” franchise. Don’t get me wrong, I like hack-and-slash games well enough. I just don’t think “Dynasty Warriors” deserves all the praise, and its eighth installment is no exception.
I loved the multi-franchise story arc by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert that was “Flashpoint”. It was the perfect catalyst for a universe-wide reboot, and more importantly, the perfect way to showcase the Flash, his lesser-known powers, and the possible consequences of using his powers. When I heard they were making “Justice League Flashpoint Paradox” I was excited. That didn’t last very long because I became worried that it would be too grand in scope.
Deadpool is probably the only character in the Marvel Universe that I like. That being said, when I saw that they were making a “Deadpool” game, it would be staying true to the comics, and that Nolan North would be reprising his role as Deadpool, it made me drool all that much more.
