WWE’12 Review

It’s “WWE 12″ time….man, I wish it wasn’t.  Now, I am a wrestling fan, though not as much as I was when I was younger.  Hell, I even went through a few years of not even watching it or knowing what was going on, but then one day I had the chance to go with a friend who is an indy wrestler and train, and I got interested again.  So, having stepped foot in the squared circle even for a few fleeting moments and learning things, and also now knowing a handful of wrestlers, I decided to take on this review.

Saints Row The Third Review

I am going to “Saints Row” BITCH!!!!! Yeah, I said it, and ya know what?  With every trip to “Saints Row,” I love it more and more. I have played every “Saints Row” game, and yeah the first one was dubbed a “GTA” clone, but once ya played it you knew it was different.  The second game did its best to distance itself from that title.  “Saints Row The Third” only shares an open world and crime with “GTA.”  Everything else is all “Saints Row.”

Uncharted 3 Review

I have never played the first “Uncharted” game, but I heard it was great.  I did, however, play the second and it was amazing.  I wasn’t a fan of the multiplayer and I am still not, but I’ll get to that later.

RAGE Review

ID Software has made some of the best classic game like “DOOM,” “Quake” and “Wolfenstein,” and Bethesda Softworks has made some of today’s best games, such as “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” and “Fallout 3.”  What happens when you combine the two?  You get “RAGE!”

Dark Souls: You. Will. Die…

…if you don’t play wisely.  Anyone that knows me knows that I love a challenge and I love a dungeon crawler.  A few months ago when I decided to break down and buy a Playstation 3, I was turned onto a game called “Demon’s Souls.” Based on the mixed reviews that I was reading from interweb chatter, I decided to exercise my Gamefly power and give it a rent.

X-Men: Destiny Review

I loved “Marvel Ultimate Alliance,” hated “Ultimate Alliance 2,” and the majority of the “Spider-Man” titles are a joke, but can “X-Men: Destiny” give Marvel a win?

Gears of War 3

Back on the historic day of November 9, 2006, I bought my first Xbox 360 for the sole purpose of “Gears of War,” a game that I vaguely remember story-wise, which is not a good sign when playing a sequel. Fast forward nearly five years later for the dramatic third and final(?) installment, and to be honest this just didn’t do it for me.

Dead Island Review

I love all things zombie, but after “Left4Dead 2″ the zombie genre left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.  When I saw the announcement trailer for “Dead Island,” however,  I noticed a glimmer of hope in the distance.

Madden NFL 12 Review

When I wake up in the morning and feel a cool breeze and the smell of fall in the air, one thing comes to mind: football. After months of the NFL being locked out and fearing that the season would not happen, we are now a week away from Opening Day.  With a new season comes a new “Madden,” but is this a new “Madden” worthy of your hard earned cash or is it just a glorified roster update?
