Here’s How You Can Play Free Square Enix Games

Ever want to play video games for free? Well, now you can with the Square Enix launch, CoreOnline.

CoreOnline is an online service created by Hapti.co out of Copenhagen that delivers high definition games straight to your browser. How is it free you ask? Well, by using an advertising supported business model, gamers earn time by watching video advertisements; time earned varies depending on the length on the ad.  Time is transferable between sessions and you can opt out of the ads by paying for either the whole game or individual levels.

CoreOnline will work with PCs and Macs, using browsers with either the Square Enix Secure Launcher plug-in or Google Chrome’s native client.

Currently in beta, you can play either “Hitman: Blood Money” or “Mini Ninjas,” but “Lara Croft: Guardians of Light” is on the way, as are many other titles.
