TheGamerGoddess T1GN’s Gaming Goddess

One of the best parts of Spring is that the beautiful ladies out there get to strut their stuff, but what makes a woman even hotter here is when they have a love for games, and this beauty not only plays games but makes them as well.  I spoke to this goddess a couple of days ago and here is how the conversation went.

T1GN: When did you get into gaming?

GG: I got into gaming pretty young, my first system was a used NES. I still remember blowing into the cartridge and swabbing it with rubbing alcohol when it wasn’t working lol.

T1GN: What was the first video game you ever played?

GG: I don’t remember the first one exactly but I remember the first few I had. They were; The Legend of Zelda, Paper Boy, Skate or Die, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and of course Super Mario Bros.

T1GN: What exactly do you do within the video game industry?

GG: I’m a Game Producer. The funny thing about that title is, the responsibilities are different depending on what company you work for. Where I work, my responsibilities include not only being a producer and project manager, seeing the game through to completion – I’m also a designer. I concept the initial story, game play and art style elements for each game I produce. I even do a lot of my own QA.

T1GN: Of all the games you’ve made for Nick.com which is your favorite?

GG: They all have a special place in my heart, I’m attached to everything I produce but one of my all time favorites is a game I produced that wasn’t expected to do well and it did amazingly. I stepped outside of the site’s comfort zone a produced a game with a brand new mechanic never before seen on the site.

T1GN: What are your top 5 all-time favorite games?

GG: It’s soooo hard to choose! If I had to, I’d say:
5 – Super Mario World
4 – Turtles in Time (Arcade Version)
3 – Mortal Kombat 2 or Street Fighter 2 Alpha (it’s a tie)
2 – Marvel vs Capcom 2
1 – Kingdom Hearts

T1GN: What games are you eagerly anticipating?

GG: I love fighting games and I feel it’s been a big year for that. I was eagerly waiting on Marvel v Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat and now I’m looking forward to Street Fighter v Tekken. I’m also drooling over L.A Noire.

T1GN: What games do you wish were never made and why?

GG: I feel like every game has its purpose, hit or miss. I think there’s only one game I truly detest…Shaq Fu. Why?! Worst game ever.

T1GN: Do you think you could ever date a guy who couldn’t play video games?

GG: No way. I mean honestly it’s a major part of my life, from my career to my past time I’m all about games. If I dated a guy who wasn’t into them, no matter how supportive he was, it’d never work out. I think you have to have a lot of things in common for a relationship to work. That goes for any girls I’d date too lol.

T1GN: If you could be any video game character who would it be and why?

GG: Oh wow, there are a lot of great female characters to choose from. I’d have to say Morrigan Aensland from Darkstalkers. She’s sexy, smart, witty, tough, naughty, nice and a succubus…can’t beat that!

T1GN: If you could play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?

GG: I can’t narrow it down to one game lol but I’ll narrow it down to a genre and say fighting games. I could be completely content only playing those.

T1GN: Who would win a fight, Zombies or Ninjas?

GG: If it’s a one on one fight, then I’d say a ninja. If it’s a massive fight, I’d say zombies. Someone’s bound to get bit and keep passing on the disease.

T1GN: When the Zombie Apocalypse happens (and it will), how do you plan on surviving?

GG: Strangely enough I’ve had this conversation at work and my coworkers all say they’d just kill themselves to avoid zombification. I on the other hand plan to go out guns blazin’! You aren’t taking me without a fight. I plan on turning into a Puerto Rican version of Lara Croft lol.
